Standpoint Software & Advisory LLC is the independent consulting practice of Stanley Kwong. A software engineer and leader with 8+ years in AWS and Kubernetes cloud-native environments, Stanley brings hands-on depth in backend engineering and platform engineering. He combines deep experience scaling systems at large organizations with the execution-biased mentality of early-stage startups.
He has spent the past six years at Robinhood, growing from founding engineer on the Observability team to Engineering Manager of Compute Infra & Orchestration — building the compute that keeps mission-critical financial systems running reliably at scale. Stanley has also shipped critical, time-sensitive features for the Robinhood Strategies product while maintaining platform stability.
Prior to Robinhood, he built infrastructure at Mixmax and led the founding engineering team at Riptide AI, both small series A and seed companies, gaining deep experience shipping and scaling systems with constrained resources.
Stanley holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UC Berkeley with a 3.7 GPA.
